There are moments in your career that stop you in your tracks. The kind where you have to reread the paperwork, sit with it for a second, and remind yourself that this is real.
Today is one of those moments for me.
I own my company again.
When I first started working for myself, I didn’t have a master plan. I wasn’t trying to build an agency or chase a specific outcome. I was focused on doing meaningful work, earning trust, and building something thoughtfully, one client at a time.
Five years ago, Fiverr acquired SLT Consulting, and my understanding of what was possible expanded.
Fiverr’s mission is to transform the way the world creates and works together, and that belief in collaboration shaped how SLTC evolved. During that chapter, I had the opportunity to lead SLTC as a wholly owned subsidiary within a public company, empower other agencies on the platform, and scale the business far beyond what I imagined when I first started.
I’m deeply grateful for what that experience taught me and for Fiverr’s partnership in making this transition possible. They’ve been thoughtful, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process.
Today, I’ve reclaimed ownership of the company that grew from solo consulting work into a trusted, high-performing digital marketing agency.
To our clients, this moment exists because of you. Your trust in our work, your partnership, and your belief that marketing can be both strategic and human made SLTC worth coming back for. Thank you for growing with us, challenging us, and allowing us to build alongside your businesses. This work, and this next chapter, exists because of you.
To our team, you are SLTC. Every campaign, every relationship, every win is a result of your care, your talent, and your commitment. I chose to step back into full ownership because of what we’ve built together and because I believe deeply in where we can go next.
And to the women founders in my orbit, the ones building, exiting, reclaiming ownership, and starting again, you gave me permission to do this. Only 1% of acquired businesses are founded by women - and even fewer of us ever reclaim them. But something important is happening. Women are stepping back into ownership of their work. It’s rare. It’s powerful. And I’m proud to be part of that movement.
I care deeply about supporting leaders as they build companies, navigate exits, create real wealth, and step into what comes next with confidence and choice. It’s a perspective shaped by my own experience, and one that informs how we approach our work at SLTC. Sharing stories like this openly and honestly is one small way I hope to contribute to that shift.
SLTC has always been about supporting visionary brands, partnering with exceptional people, and doing the kind of work that earns trust over time. That doesn’t change.
What changes now is ownership. Decisions live closer to the work. We’re able to be more selective about the partnerships we take on, invest more deeply in our clients and our people, and build at a pace that prioritizes long-term impact over short-term scale.
I’m excited for what we’ll build next, together.
